Preparing your documents: transcripts, references and the motivation letter
applicationsdocumentsmotivation-letter
A strong profile still fails if the paperwork is wrong. Nordic admissions offices are procedural: an incomplete file is rejected without review.
## Transcripts
You need official, certified transcripts in English, showing every course and grade. If your institution issues them only in your national language, arrange a sworn translation.
## References
Two academic references are standard. Ask early, give your referees your CV and a summary of the programmes, and confirm they can meet the deadline.
## The motivation letter
One page. Say why this specific programme, what in your background prepares you for it, and what you intend to do afterwards. Avoid generic praise of the country or the university.
## Document upload
Once you start an application in Eduskandia you can upload each document against its type — passport, transcript, English test, CV — and see immediately what is still missing.
